About Volunteering

Dress for Success Saskatoon continues to grow in response to needs in the community. To sign up as a volunteer, once you have submitted your volunteer information, we will add you to our database and will contact you when opportunities arise! Please note that a number of opportunities are only available during certain times of the year.

Openings

We are in need of volunteers to:

  • Inventory/Sorter and Merchandising
  • Stylist – work one-on-one with clients (training provided)
  • Sponsorship
  • Women Empowering Women (WEW)
  • Communications
  • General Volunteer

Role Descriptions

Inventory/Sorter and Merchandising

Gather individually or as a group to sort business attire and/or set up, display, and refresh inventory.

Stylist

Work with two other volunteers to directly impact the lives of our clients by providing them with interview and employment-appropriate attire. Stylists also provide guidance and support for upcoming roles and instill confidence in the client! Training is offered, and the commitment level can vary based on your availability.

Sponsorship

Help seek donations of cash or in-kind gifts/services to support our operations from within the community.

Women Empowering Women (WEW)

Help plan the WEW monthly seminars, book speakers, plan meals or refreshments, and notify members

General Volunteer

General volunteers are added to our database and notified when ad hoc opportunities arise, such as one-day sorting events or sales, fundraisers, mailing list updates, etc. You choose to volunteer for those activities that fit your talents and availability without a regular schedule commitment.
