Donate Clothes
What would you wear to a job interview? This is exactly the type of clothing we are looking for to distribute to our clients. Your new or gently used attire can provide a woman with the confidence to enter or return to the workplace, make a great first impression, and land a job that could change her life.
Please note that clothing does not have to be dry-cleaned however, it needs to be clean and able to be worn immediately. Please ensure that all items donated are current styles or classics that make them suitable for wearing to job interviews, as clients may have the opportunity to go directly to their job interview from their suiting appointment.
Please ensure all clothing meets this criteria before donating. Acceptable donations come to us in bags, boxes, suit bags, or suitcases.
We look forward to assisting our clients and thank you in advance for your support.
Donation Drives
Most of the apparel we provide to our clients comes to us from other women in the community, and clothing donation is a great way to support Dress for Success.
Whether you are an individual with clothing to donate or want to organize a donation drive with your friends at your company/school/place of worship/association, we welcome your donation!
Please contact [email protected] for more information and to have a donation drive.
Items We Accept
We accept any clean and gently used attire that can be used in a Saskatoon workplace. Most commonly, people think of suits, skirts, and tops, but our clients are working in a variety of jobs, and the need encompasses everything: professional attire, business casual, “black pants and white button-down”, scrubs, and everything in between!
Additionally, we accept all the accessories that finish an outfit – shoes, boots, purses, scarves, and jewellery, as well as outerwear (coats, hats, gloves, bags).
To donate items, please drop them off at either Saskatoon Conexus Credit Union location during their business hours – just ask at the reception desk, and they will gladly take your items!
